i'm currently in an original heavy alternative band (No Resolve) AND a cover band (7 Million Jigawatts ). the cover band just kind of fell into my lap a few months ago, and we make very good money. that's really the only reason i'm in it. it's my first cover band experience. the other members are awesome musicians, but i'm running myself ragged with this schedule (i'm also on four hockey teams). WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING?!

i voted for john. maybe because he didn't have a chance to screw things up in the 80's. not a big fan of paul or george's 80's work.

anyone else familiar with him? i heard Elusive on the radio and checked him out. this is the best album i've heard in quite a while! kind of a nick drake/jeff buckley feel. excellent stuff!

anyone else a fan of this guy? just picked up the new album and it's amazing! definitely his best effort yet. anyone who's a fan of solo acoustic music should check him out. pretty heavy comparisons to nick drake. jose-gonzalez.com

looks like i'll be the black sheep. i don't like it as much as his older stuff. it's still excellent, and probably will be my favorite album released this year (behind SBS). but it doesn't grab me like the earlier stuff. now, i've only listened to it once, so i'll check back after a few days of absorbing. just my first impression.

wasn't able to get tix for this one. very surprised at how fast it sold out! instead, i'm road tripping with a friend to the oct 27th show in ohio!

was at the meadowbrook show as well. by far one of the best shows i've ever been to! he played all but two songs from my favorite album. amazing, amazing show!
