  1. they also add an "a" to it. "A scissor" WTF is that?
  2. what's the deal with New Yorkers saying "On line" instead of "In line"? that drives me crazy.
  3. I really hate this one. When people say it, instead of making their point, it just makes them look like morons.
  4. victor79, was the show 1/2 acoustic 1/2 electric?
  5. Jim James and Calexico are one of the best bands of the decade? I wasn't aware that they'd been together for much longer than it took them to record this song.
  6. just so you know, I gave a legit answer as far as "Rulling Class" is concerned.
  7. I'm pretty sure the Mods/Admis will back me up on this, it might not be posted, but it's a board rule that discussion about the loft's location is off limits.
  8. yeah, that is awesome. I like "fandabidozi"
  9. I'm willing to bet that the majority of his posts are in the non-wilco related sections of this board.
  10. I don't think is is such a bad idea. When I was in highschool (89-93), there were freshmen girls, coming to school with 1-2 year old babies. Lucky for them, the school had a daycare center.
  11. nah, I remember my mom's boyfriend (who had a huge impact on a lot of the music I listen to) loving U2 when I was a kid. I think, War, was probably the first album of their's that he brought home, and I couldn't stand it. I also had some friends who were really into them, and I just didn't get it. Even today, my wife is a huge U2 fan, and I've tried see if I could get into anything they've done. they just don't click with me.
  12. I've listened to their music, and it's never done anything for me.
  13. curse you and your insider info! I have faith, especially after reading that review.
  14. it might have had something to do with my school's population being >75% black, but none of the cool kids listened to U2 or REM.
  15. here's a very promising review from Newsarama.com
  16. this is the first "scary" movie in a long time, that actually looks scary.
  17. welcome back, I hope you get to see Wilco next year.
  18. nah, I really don't care, it's none of my business. I'm into Wilco for the music, not for their clothes or their kids or however they choose to practice their religious beliefs. I'd like you to go through any of my old posts, here and in the archives and show me where I contradict myself.
  19. shit, I bought tickets and never received an e-mail from Warner Bros. is there an e-mail address I can contact them at?
