I've only been to the Fox once, to see Elvis Costello & The Attractions in '96, but it's a gorgeous venue. Lots of Little Caesars Pizza money went into that renovation, and it was well spent.
I love that theater!
I haven't seen many shows there (Coldplay in the orchestra pit & Dido), but it's a glorious venue. It actually has an identical sister theater in St. Louis.

I proved to a friend this past weekend that not every Rod Stewart album sucks. She believes me now.

I was watching the season finale of season 1 of scrubs the other day. Colin Hay doing an acoustic version of 'Overkill' is pretty good. It's been stuck in my head for a couple of days now.
I love finding songs from the 80s that I forgot about.

(assuming this will sell out)...is the fan base really big in Detroit? Or do they bank on getting an influx of Chicago (and Toronto) fans.
Every Wilco show I went to in Detroit (3x) was sold out. My fave ever was in the Royal Oak Music hall.

Damn... and I'll be there the week before.
Hmmmm.... maybe I can get my friend to move his wedding....
sigh.... i miss the smaller venues of Detroit. damn you LA.... damn you

Maybe he should have pleaded insanity, then?
it's going to be the falcons pleading insanity now, since Joey Harrington will be leading them.
What an idiot.

so good. Saw them at Sunset Junction this weekend.
How can you deny that "
" isn't the feelgood hit of the summer? -
Ne1 see "Superbad" this weekend? I got quite a laugh out of it. Especially all the exotic drawings.

I caught this movie last Friday. Enjoyable. Not the greatest movie this summer, but it has its moments. I really enjoyed the soundtrack. I'll have to get it off of itunes. Ne1 else catch the film?
