yes, THE bruce dickinson. gold pants AC/DC. Bon Scott to Brian Johnston. Maybe wasn't an upgrade, but to keep rockin' to that degree. Sweet.

My take is that Matt Sharp is actually the song writing connoiseur. He left Weezer after the Pinkerton album, and so did the whimsical tunage (there are a few exceptions ie "Island In the Sun"). I think it's apparent when you listen to the 1st Rentals album that he was definetly the witty specialist. p.s. Pinkerton is my fave Weezer album

I got that for a gift and i have to say that I love that he did the soundtrack to "The 3 Amigos." Isn't he the guy who returned from his grave only to sellout on VW commercials?

2nded Neil Diamond is always skipped over during the Last Waltz. I get so much more out of watching fat Van Morrison do his kicks. As for underrated songwriters, Daniel Johnston's songwriting still blows me away. Wowwaweewa.

guess I found it. http://www.answers.com/topic/a-shot-in-the-arm-1 "Shot In The Arm" Single. Version 2. Sidenote.... I love comparing the version of Daniel Johnston's "To Go Home" to M.Ward's version off of his record "Post-War." Wow.

I just watched this the "Devil and Daniel Johnston". Actually, I've watched it 2x in the past 5 days. It's incredible. I too saw in the end that they gave cred to Wilco for covering Daniel Johnston. The version I found sounds like it's straight out of the studio as well. Any1 have any clue where it's from? I found it easily by searching on google, but if anyone desires PM me. -Ben PS. WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!!! incredible! For sure I'm going to get tickets to see him play in LA soon.

I snuck this in the "uhmm" forum, but since this opened I'll post it in here too. Seems a stretch a few times, but brings up some really good points. http://www.bobharris.com/content/view/1406/1/ -

That's horrible news. That sucks. I loved that show. Do they ever add DVR recordings into Nielsen ratings?
