  1. did anyone get toronto tickets?
  2. hah, thanks man. i agree, those webcam things bother me, as well.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6tRBTZdaC8 Here it is, a video of me doing a solo cover of "The Family Gardener" by The Minus 5. Enjoy!
  4. Does anyone have the recording of this they could YSI?
  5. I will never understand why some call AGIB "experimentation." To me it just sounds like a rock record...
  6. If you had to choose between Wilco's first three albums (AM, Being There, and Summerteeth) or Wilco's most current three albums (Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, A Ghost is Born, and Sky Blue Sky) which would you take? I'll take YAS over ABS.

i gave it a 6. although you could call it "bold" or "experimentation" for trying a new sound this album, most of the songs are a step backwards from their live debut predecessors. side with the seeds and shake it off are both slowed down way to much and in turn lack the live shows energy. not only that, but leave me (like you found me) is one of the worst wilco songs ever.
  8. ok ok, the 75% of AM that sucked.
  9. AGIB YHF ST BT SBS AM i think leave me (like you found me) is the first wilco song thats actually "sucked" since AM. other than that, the album has some great songs, but on the whole its just ok to me... so far, that is.
  10. little dissapointed in 'side with the seeds.' it was better at the chicago show.
  11. any other chat rooms going besides 'skybluesky'? that one is full up.
  12. i am guessing it will be like the sunken treasure stream; you could start it from the beginning at any time during the time frame it was up.
  13. i hope wilco had nothing to do with the production of any of those videos.....
  14. i am curious as to what the quality of the stream will be in comparison to listening to a cd.
  15. have you guys heard wilco was dropped from reprise? it was on the cnn crawl.
  16. haha, i am 20, but i do know and enjoy america and bread. to me the new songs are rocking. thats why im curious as to why some people are complaining because this will be a "mellow" record. as for dad-rock, i consider dad-rock a positive connotation.
  17. i was just curious as to why some are calling this a soft-rock or dad-rock record? to me most of YHF is just as mellow or more mellow than these songs.
  18. so far i am a huge fan of the production. i dig the crisp, clean approach; nothing too rocking. i just dont think trying to replicate a live show on a disc is worthwhile, so i am glad they refrained from just trying to be loud. to me walken is tight and groove-worthy. im guessing the rest of the album wont dissapoint me.
