I'll third that. What Light was the single from SBS, now You Never Know is this album's single. Someone needs to tell these guys that "catchy" and "annoying" are not synonymous.

>"It's always cringe-inducing to see a band preview tunes before a festival crowd," Stirratt said. Wilco have done that.

its a solid album. my only wish is that they went more in the direction of deeper down and bull black nova; a little less "safe." lots of damn fine songs on there, though.

upon watching kingpin, i feel embarrassed of that crowd. it wasnt a wilco show, it was a tweedy show, so shut up. i saw him a few years ago in grand rapids and it was silent and captive the entire time, helping make for one of the best shows ive been to. jeff was clearly annoyed in the clip, waiting to get the hell out of there. that being said, all of those people at kzoo paid for their tickets, i suppose they can do what they want.

bump. this tab did not work to well for me. maybe its just me and it worked for others. anyone have alternate tabbings of this?
-
i dunno if its just me, but this song sounds like a song i wrote a few months ago. the opening riff, at least; http://ekehoe.wordpress.com has my post about it. i know its nothing too exact, i just thought it was kind of funny.

Who is that taking the 2nd verse? It doesn't sound exactly like Fleet Foxes' lead singer.

I'm seriously contemplating naming my first born Wilco. Wil for short. Or Co.

For the "Magic Number 3" reference, see Schoolhouse Rock video. I had to do some research myself because I did not know of the reference. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11N-BD1aBo0 (Three is a Magic Number)
