  2. Actually what floors me is the Pearl Jam reissues weren't on there???
  3. Wow...top seller is just over of 40,000 copies...those numbers seem low. I would have thought with the resurgance of vinyl someone was selling 50,000+ copies of a vinyl album.
  4. Sweet..yeah JD is 70 miles south of Nashville..I am a sucker for factory tours...I did get a chane to visit Chattanooga last year and hit up ruby falls, the caves and the incline railway and I had a nice time. My in-laws live in Marietta so I am not far from TN oftent.
  5. I would put Jukebox of Steel up there with Volt's earlier works...excited for the new album!
  6. Thanks for the replys everyone...Def interested in Studio B , Ryman, Country Music HOF. Was thinking about the Pathernon replica too..I am a sucker for those type of tourist things. Anyone also know any good BBQ places too? gtrplyr I love Martins! Took the tour of the headquarters in PA. You must do that if you get a chance...I am not enough of a player though to warrant a purchase of even the low end Martin but would def buy one if I was playing!
  7. Going to Nashville the end of the month for a long weekend. I was in Nashville several years ago and toured the Grand Ole Opry other than that I was just driving through. What recommendations for Restaraunts, cool bars and other tourist or non-tourist things must I see? I do see a visit to Jack Daniels also in my future...
  8. People still rag on Ken and I thought he was a good drummer too!

  11. Here are some of my favorite shows of the year 1. Cure -Beacon Theater, NYC Three Imaginary Boys, 17 Seconds and Faith....45 songs later with the encore! What a show! 2. Radiohead- Roseland...major pain to get tickets, waited 4+ hours before they got on and was squished like a sardine but still worth it. 3. Wilco- Central Park..in the rain..fun times...new stuff sounded great..went the night before too good times.. 4. Soundgarden- Prudential and Festival Pier Finally saw them live....Cornell can still wail! 5. Echo and The Bunnymen-Irving Plaza Crocodiles and Heaven Up Here...woot! 6. Paul Mcca

  14. Gotcha... As much as I also love Wilco I Can't Stand Shot in the Arm, I'm The Man, Jesus, Spiders and Heavy Metal anymore...at least live I heard those everytime I have seen them since Yankee Tour/Ghost
  15. I think you win! First 100% response! Nothing you don't like by Wilco??? I am also suprised more of you haven't included them in your list.

  18. Did anyone catch the rerun of Lisa Lings Documentary inside North Korea on the National Geographic Channel....scary scary stuff!
  19. Tell me your top 10 favorite bands and also what percentage of their musical output you like*... 1. R.E.M. -95% (I can do without most of Around the Sun and Reveal) 2. Radiohead-93% (a few song misteps but I still dig almost everything. Radiohead in my mind has some of the best B-sides of all time) 3. Wilco-90% (Wilco the Album and Sky Blue Sky has a few duds...but don't worry I forgive them ) 4. The Cure-88% (they got an off the wall mid 80's career but I appreciate the strange stuff and what they were aiming for) 5. Blur-87% (Great Escape..mostly meh...in mind mind though second best B-si
  20. Pay no mind to those fools! I think it is great liking a band that is not as popular or known. One of the benefits is you don't get as tired of the hits because there are none. Most of the bands I like couldn't fill up a 500 capacity venue in NYC but I don't care. It is more like a private concert when i do see them. I am a huge fan of the Charlatans UK and very few people know who they are. They did an instore in NYC and 25 people where there....it didn't bother me one bit because I got to hang with the band and get my request in. People constantly don't know most of the bands that I like.
  21. You will have a blast...Phish at MSG is the way to go..I may go to the earlier in the week shows but I am ticketless as we speak.
  22. Ahh yes actually 6 Mermaid songs...you are correct!
  23. Yeah..he does...well at least back in 2005 when i asked him if they ever planned on playing it again. He said...I hate that song..I made fun of Jeff for it. That is what he told me at least! He must have lost a bet recently or something
