Does anyone know if there was an attempt to put Wilco on Conan the same week they are playing Letterman? Of course they can go on there at a future date, I just thought maybe they would kill 2 birds with one stone, especially since Conan had them in Chicago last year.

So just because you disagree with her, you're going to say she's annoying? That doesn't make sense. Why should her opinions about the album (or Crowded House for that matter) be any more or less valid than yours or mine?

I agree that it's a nice wonderful on their part. It's good that they are streaming the second show to everyone, as I pre-ordered to save myself a little cash and doubt I will have the cd in hand by the 20th.

Well, Jesus, etc. will probably always be my favorite Wilco song, but right now Impossible Germany is a close second. I just think the crackiness of the vocal is not suited to the overall sweetness of the song. I think it's because "I'm" so enamored with the song that I wish he had picked a different vocal track. But like I said, it was more of an observation from comparing it to the live versions I've been assembling. To each his own. Just a personal observation, but has anyone else had the thought that the vocal is a bit "scratchy" compared to the live versions? I mean, in some places it sounds like Jeff failed to clear his throat before launching into the song. From an aesthetic point of view, I find it kind of jarring compared to the live versions.

Would someone be willing to volunteer to compile all the potential add-ons associated with SBS? It might be helpful for those trying to get a complete set. Here's what I can think of off the top of my head: 1. Bonus DVD 2. i-Tunes bonus song: Let's Not Get Carried Away 3. Limited EP: Theologians (live) and One True Vine

I'll second that. As a relatively new Wilco fan (YHF) I find Wilcobase to be an invaluable website. The world needs more people like Rob.

Does someone have the actual quote? I'm rather skeptical myself, seeing as how the Tweeedy Solo Tour DVD is exclusively based on West Coast dates. I can't imagine the others not being thrilled to play the Bay Area. (Does anyone know the origins of "On Fillmore" by the way?) And as others have said, Wilco has been really great about spreading shows around the Bay Area. As much as I love the Fillmore, I live in the East Bay, so their willingness to play the Greek and the Paramount is very much appreciated by this fan.

I checked Amazon this morning and couldn't find it. I see the 'enhanced' cd for $13 and that's it. Can someone post the link if he is telling the truth?

I've been checking Amazon (sorry MusicWorld, you charge too much for shipping) daily and they seem to only have the CD for the moment (though it is described as an Extended version). I would sincerely hope that the CD/DVD will be available through there. I think it was #82 or so on their sales ranking. Not bad for a month out.

Do you have information on which show it was? I would love to hear it.
