  1. Not much of a shock that the performers, presenters, etc. are getting completely dissed in this thread.
  2. Brad Rice, who has played in several of Ryan Adam's bands and played on the last Son Volt record, was playing with Keith Urban on last night's SNL. First of all - yuck. I would not be the most accurate judge of Keith Urban because I absolutely hate corporate country radio, but this guy is a joke. Over and over he posed with his guitar like he was playing all the licks while Brad Rice and two other guitar players played all the actual notes. I'm a bit of a Ryan Adams fanboy and I've probably seen Brad play with him 6 or 7 times live. Brad was even in Whiskeytown towards the end. I know
  3. Classic pathetic writing regarding music in the Richmond Times Dispatch.
  4. I'm not even going to try to describe Jeff's amazing performance or how thrilling it was to be a part of such a great crowd. I live in Richmond, VA and have been going to shows actively for 15 years and this simply does not happen at shows. I mean you could hear the crowd tapping their feet on the floor in unison during "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart"! Charlottesville has really turned into THE place to see a show in VA. On another note I just wanted to mention that when Jeff joked that he was "playing the shit out of these songs" I couldn't agree more. In a way it felt like this could
  5. Agreed. I was listening to $1000 Wedding on the way home from work today and realized that the Cardinals were playing Emmylou to Willie's Gram. Great stuff.
  6. Sorry for starting a fight I just wanted to hear studio versions of Traces and Bad Fog Of Loneliness
  7. I happened to see an mp3 request on oink for an mp3 version of the Tonight's The Night acetates. The request had a link on oink to a flac version of said acetates. Of course that torrent is dead. Anyone know if these are circulating or not? I was trying to wait until the archives releases to listen to some of the unreleased studio stuff from this period, but I do not believe I am going to live to be 200 years of age
