  1. i guess we'll see sucks if the whole thing didn't get recorded... but it's understandable... i got really tickled during hummingbird and i couldn't quit laughing... jeff's a funny guy... and pat's mom was laughing at me because before they played "hate it here" i semi-yelled it and she turned around and said "you guessed it!" and they played it... she told me afterward that i was very enthusiastic... was able to get a couple good pictures, which is exciting... never done that at a wilco show. and some samll video clips from "via chicago" and "hate it here"
  2. last night's show was really really good. i had a blast despite the rain... "spiders" was cool. we were right behind pat's family and they were really nice. his dad (i think it was his dad, maybe granddad) was having a ball, he was dancing and stuff, it was really cool. i was disappointed that we didn't get on and on and on or pot kettle black, but that's ok... 'hate it here' was played! and i guess it's safe to assume there wasn't a taper?
  3. i'm glad i didn't have to work today!
  4. oh... did i tell you guys the nerdy thing i did pertaining to the show last week?? i've been really paranoid about the seats we have for some reason. i had 2 "nightmares" about them. one involved a giant pillar coming down on the stage to where i couldn't see anybody and the other one involved a basketball team standing in front of me... i'm a nerd... anyway, it led me to call Chastain and ask where my seats were exactly...the convo was like this: guy: what are the numbers on your tickets? me: row left pit seats 7,8,9 or something like that guy: well, that means that there are 5 rows
  5. yep. that's one good thing about the south. the rains are usually short. a few weeks ago here in chattanooga it started raining like CRAZY... almost like the shower in your house hard.... 30 mins later the sun was out and everything was almost dry.
  6. http://www.weather.com/outlook/health/gene...r_topnav_health most of the time on the weather.com forecast it says scattered. and we could get lucky and it not hit that part of the city...
  7. i have lived in the south my whole life. storms in the summer do not last long hardly ever. yesterday it rained here in chattanooga for like 20 minutes and cleared up downtown pretty quickly there was lightning and stuff too... the ticket says "rain or shine" so i do not think it will cut the show short. maybe the sun will shine today...
  8. here's the set list: Pieholden Suite
  9. btw, your avatar always makes me smile really big!
  10. i've decided that all my bf's have to at least like wilco or the old 97's.
  11. my dad said the same thing about the noise at the end of handshake drugs when we went to our first show
  12. No shit My mom will never take me to Atlanta to see a show again because of the crazy drivers...
  13. dad's are great me and my daddy(he will still be called daddy when i am 30 years old):
  14. I was just about to say that. The most important thing to know in theory is key signatues!
  15. i'm from chattanooga about 2 and a half hours south of nashville and 2 hours north of atlanta, so we'll be going 75-south i guess... but 75 either way. i suck with directions, which is why my dad is driving. i'll be in row 6. i have a VIA CHICAGO button that i will be wearing.
  16. yeah. i called chastain yesterday to see where my seats were and he was like "what's on the ticket?" and i told him and the guy was like "well, that means there are 5 other rows in front of you on the main floor"... it was a really funny converstation, and i wish i weren't so ocd about the whole thing....
  17. Gotcha. I'll mapquest directions. We're coming from I-75 north... so it must turn into 285.
  18. so is this place in buckhead? isn't the roxy on roswell road?? i rembmer driving through a really snooty looking area to get to the roxy a few months ago.
  19. i did the online thing. maybe that will work. then i'd just have to figure out how to get down there in the middle of the day.
  20. whoop-ti-do. i'm just gonna rock out at the show that night.
