I think Glenn gets some lyrical credit because Jeff borrowed some imagery from some of Glenn's little percussive invention thingys. I forget where I read that... but yeah, the "chambers of chains with red plastic mouths" thing... And yeah, the solo version was probably one of the most amazing human connections I've experianced at a show.

i saw jeff do it solo back in january, and i weeped. i love music.

it's funny, i was reading in another thread about undeinable connections with songs, and this is that wilco song for me. absolutely.

Holy crap what a show! So much energy!!! It was a blast to see those guys play. The harmonies were great. The crowd was a little sparse though, which was sad, but it was a Sunday so I can understand... I think they played 15 songs, and the last song they played was something about "fish in the sea" and i wasn't familliar with it, but my sister knew it. Anyway, if they come to your city go see them. They're like instant happy.
