solace Report post Posted June 19, 2005 yes, then you put in the URL of your image you want to post
gogo Report post Posted June 19, 2005 Who's on first? kamera69, I think you have to have a URL. Go to http://photobucket.com/ and register for a free account. Then upload the image you want to post to your photobucket account, which will give you a URL which you can link to here, using the IMG button.
Robby Report post Posted September 5, 2015 Hi,OK I created a Photobucket account, uploaded a picture, went to upload a picture on a reply to the Via Chicago message board, pressed the image button, got the dialogue box to type in the URL from Photobucket, copy & pasted the URL in, hit OK and the dialogue box just freezes.Any suggestions, what am I not doing right? GtrPlyr Report post Posted September 5, 2015 What format is the photo in (i.e. jpg, png, gif)? Just wondering if maybe the pic is in a format not allowed on this board.
Robby Report post Posted September 6, 2015 It was a jpg. Is that not allowed?
GtrPlyr Report post Posted September 6, 2015 It was a jpg. Is that not allowed? Yep, that one is good. Not sure why it isn't working for you. Maybe you could try uploading the picture to a different photo hosting site such as http://imgur.com/ and see if that makes a difference.

kidsmoke Report post Posted November 1, 2015 Hey Robby, when use imgur.com, are you selecting the "Direct Link" option or the "BB Code (Forums)" option? I've had trouble with the BB Code one before & only use the direct link now. You might try & see whether that makes a difference.
