G_willy
I was going to post this on the World Cup topic but seeing that it has now been locked I cant... Sorry, I dont want to continue to drag on the world cup but, you really need to check this out... http://www.funnydumper.com/Funnypics/html/brazilmatch.htm Just to confirm I checked the video on youtube and it is correct. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EM737ikdmjo...20france%20goal it is sad, I have always regarded Roberto Carlos as being one of the best players for Brazil. Either he was REALLY REALLY winded, or this is some major bullshit

Azzurri
in watching the video again, it seems as though they were playing for an offsides trap...that is the only explanation i can give.
Synthesizer Patel
wow, that's incredible. i had never noticed that...what the hell was he doing? It's called Brazilian football. That's what they do. Whoever thought that was some kind of scandal needs to watch how the Brazilians play football a bit more often. I heard Roberto Carlos was on the grassy nole too, but he was resting and looking the other way so nobody suspected a thing. The crafty Brazilian!
G_willy
in watching the video again, it seems as though they were playing for an offsides trap...that is the only explanation i can give. that is the only logical thing I can think of, but even so, you push up on the offsides trap. You dont just stand their with your hands on your knees for 10 seconds. Think about how many people put down cash for Brazil in that game. They were a sure win
Synthesizer Patel
in watching the video again, it seems as though they were playing for an offsides trap...that is the only explanation i can give. It's not the only explanation. He was resting and felt he could be missed for a few minutes. They play football in attack like they are having a Sunday knock-about in the park, which is why they are so fun, and likewise they often do the same in defence. Guest ScottHoward
I bet on Brazil in that game. I wonder if I'll get my money back...
tongue-tied lightning
ok, I heard what the Italain player actually said to Zidane I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper. I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.

Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries. Of course, that's more likely to have been what Zidane (the Frenchman) said to Materazzi. "Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!"
