I put the Do You Realize?/Streets mash-up on the last mix I made for my brother. I can't stop... The interview prior was vintage 'let's get on the serious tip for a minute' Arsenio and a little shoutout to Quincy Jones 'Q's Juke Joint' album that my Dad had on the car stereo non-stop for like 6 motnhs straight. Ha! Awww hell, Sir S. I'll see your Tribe on Yo! w/ this...Tribe w/ the entire 'Scenario' posse on Arsenio and it ain't rap, but...RHCP on Arsenio finally, it ain't the Arsenio Hall show, but his cameo in this Chapelle skit was classic...'HOW COME YOU DIDN'T TELL ME HOW GOOD THE CHEESE WAS MOTHERFUCKER?! I'm totally doing the Arsenio fist pump right now at my desk. Woof.

In my car I do as much as I can of the Humpty Dance. I even do the arm waves and pelvic thrust the back up guys in the video do during that horn section preceding "Oh, do me (it?) baby". A few years ago our friend had been keeping the new cover song his punk band was unveiling under wraps. He was in the back seat of our car one night and the Humpty Dance came on. He recited the whole thing, as did I. But with me facing forward he didn't know I was doing it. A few days later I asked again what this mysterious cover song was and he said "I gave you a HUGE clue in your car the other night!" I said "what do you mean?" and he said "I've spent weeks learning all the words to the Humpty Dance!!!" and I said "you had to study them??? I sang along to the entire song too and I didn't learn the lyrics for homework last week!" He was shocked that I knew the words and I was shocked that he didn't.
