Synthesizer Patel
Everything in the Bible is 100% verifiable. Did you not know that dates, and proof that these people existed, proves beyond doubt that the Bible is the Word of God, rather than a book about a bunch of people that said they heard the word of God, which is entirely different (well I am talking the old testament mainly here). For a book so precise and concrete it's a little hazy about the second coming and armageddon; you know, the big stuff. But then God wouldn't be able to get a kick out of watching a whole succession of fanatics for centuries hoping beyond hope that their era of sodomy and buffoonery (yes, he did say buffoonery, you weren't imagining it) is the last of the last days rather than a question of personal taste. Synthesizer Patel
BAFFONERY! You obviously didn't watch the youtube thing. He said Buffoonery. To misquote Obi Wan Kenobi, "Now that's a word I haven't heard in a long time."

viatroy
baffoonery. The composition of the Bible (both testaments) seems like an elaborate and very longlasting game of telephone to me. But then I'm a godless sodomite.

Synthesizer Patel
Hey, I was letting it go, and only responded to a specific question. I am glad you pointed it out, because I want to use it a lot more from now on, and spelling it incorrectly would not be too stylish. There's something quite quaint about it, really.
