i remember some discussion of this album here before it came out. just listened to it in its entirety for the first time last night. i thought that it was generally pretty good, not much different from dando's other stuff but nice to see him coming out with some new music.

Yeah, I think it's pretty good. Not his best but it delivers more punch than Baby I'm Bored. My only beef with it is the lyrics, although that can be argued for every Lemonheads album.

I think it's a real return to form. Become the Enemy is a contender for song of the year. It won't top their prime stuff or my albums of the year, but it's getting a lot of play lately.

I think Bill Stevenson wrote "Become the Enemy"...I know he wrote "Steve's Boy", which is really growing on me. I hope he and Karl Alvarez tour with Evan.

You are correct. That song, No Backbone and Let's Just Laugh are my current favorites.

i like Rule of Three a lot too, but he should have cut out a few of the chorus repeats

Yeah, the ending of Rule of Three kinda ruins the whole song for me. It has a nice beginning to it though.
