Somnambulist
From Billboard.com The track list has been revealed for the soundtrack to the Cirque Du Soleil/Beatles show "Love," due Nov. 21 via Apple Corps Ltd/Capitol. The 26-track disc, housed on a DVD-Audio/DVD-Video hybrid, will also be the legendary group's first album available in 5.1 Dolby Digital stereo. As previously reported, the music for the album and stage extravaganza was assembled by Beatles producer George Martin and his son, Giles, from the Beatles' original master tapes. In addition to the album cuts that were previewed to media last May, including "Lady Madonna," "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" and "Within You Without You/"Tomorrow Never Knows," the set also contains a mash-up of "Drive My Car," "The Word" and "What You're Doing" and a blend of "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!" with "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" and "Helter Skelter." "George and Giles did such a great job combining these tracks," says Ringo Starr. "It's really powerful for me and I even heard things I'd forgotten we'd recorded." Paul McCartney adds, "This album puts the Beatles back together again, because suddenly there's John and George with me and Ringo. It's kind of magical." Here is the track list for "Love": "Because""Get Back""Glass Onion""Eleanor Rigby""Julia (Transition)""I Am the Walrus""I Want To Hold Your Hand""Drive My Car/The Word/What You're Doing""Gnik Nus""Something""Blue Jay Way (Transition)""Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!/I Want You (She's So Heavy)/Helter Skelter""Help!""Blackbird/Yesterday""Strawberry Fields Forever""Within You Without You/Tomorrow Never Knows""Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds""Octopus's Garden""Lady Madonna""Here Comes the Sun""The Inner Light (Transition)""Come Together/Dear Prudence""Cry Baby Cry (Transition)""Revolution""Back in the U.S.S.R.""While My Guitar Gently Weeps""A Day in the Life""Hey Jude""Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)""All You Need Is Love"
Sir Stewart
This show might actually not be the very worst thing of all time, maybe.
Dude
I hope it's just straight-up Beatles recordings minus the new-age synths that you usually hear at Cirque shows.

Dude
And the music sounds great. Crisp and beautiful. Having said that: I like Cirque du Soleil, and I enjoyed the show. The sound system in the theater is incredible.I like Cirque, too. 'O' was swimmingly beautiful.

a.miller
It is my understanding that these are going to be some sort of mash-ups.the set also contains a mash-up of "Drive My Car," "The Word" and "What You're Doing" and a blend of "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!" with "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" and "Helter Skelter."Hopefully, these will be some of the coolest pieces of music ever produced...not that (in thier normal states) aren't already. Sir Stewart
I hear Paul's jockeying to get a new number of his inserted smack in the middle of this show. He wants to perform it live each night, too. It's called...wait for it... "Fuck My Ex-Wife."
gogo
Random gossip from an untrustworthy source alert: I was getting a manicure at the Mirage (which is where this show happens, and staying there is great, because every public space, from the casino to the restaurants to the pool, has Beatles music piped in; also: majorly cool merch in the Love Boutique), and the manicurist told me that while they were working on the show, Paul McCartney stayed there on occasion, and more than once had every manicurist in the hotel sent up to his floor to give manicures to his whole entourage. She said he was very nice, very friendly (her exact words: "so much money, and still so nice..."). I asked if she'd ever met his wife, and she said no, she was never there, and he never mentioned her, "but he talked about the baby all the time." Which is kind of how I'd like to think of Paul handling this situation: he knows now that he screwed up in marrying her, but he's still in love with the baby.
