Beirut and the Borat Soundtrack aside, could anybody throw some Eastern-Bloc / Russian music suggestions my way? Regardless of genre -- even ballets are OK! Kino is the best of the best (the Nirvana of Russia), Zemfira is the best of recently. Akvarium, DDT, and Machina Vremini were the biggest bands of the 1980's Communism (but not State/Party bands).
