EL the Famous
After reading the latest three entries in this blog I gotta say I'm excited all over again. I'm still interested, but i'm trying to figure out how this'll be that much different from a Shawn Lee P-Pong Orchestra record...i'll reserve 'excitement' until I get a little more details. solace
yeah... i'm still excited for it, but have a hard time believing that i'm going to be bowled over by it...
Sir Stewart
THE BEASTIE BOYS axed plans to name their new album after pop superstar BEYONCE KNOWLES because they feared offending her. Drummer Mike Diamond reveals the working title 'Thick Like Beyonce's Leg' didn't make the final cut. He tells British radio station X-FM. "I think its gonna be called 'The Mix-Up'. It's a little too sensible almost huh? I was a big fan of the title 'Thick Like Beyonce's Leg' but that didn't make the final cut for some reason. "Beyonce's very talented and beautiful and she's probably stronger than we are...we didn't want to have any problems with her."

Mrs. Peel
Well, the clip of song #1 is less than impressive....
Sir Stewart
But the story is intriguing!
Mrs. Peel
As always....I'm sure the story will be highly entertaining, yes.
EL the Famous
Well, the clip of song #1 is less than impressive.... ...but still as enjoyable as a 30 second clip of music can be.
Mrs. Peel
The 30 second clip sounds like my friends in junior high who just got their first instruments jamming in their basement and recording on a 4 track. Sorry. Â Obviously it's not a long sample, but it's enough to get a general idea. But like I said, I'm not a fan of their instrumentals, so it should come as no surprise that I'm not blown away by this one. I still can't wait to see what happens with the bugged bagel. Mrs. Peel
! Is it a bugged bagel or a drugged bagel? Either way, bagel treachery will ensue.
Sir Stewart
I thought "bugged bagel" was your term for a CD. hahahhahaha
Mrs. Peel
That's the craziest thing I ever heard, fool.
Sir Stewart
Even still - I'm about to start dropping that term around town.
Mrs. Peel
Maybe the Beasties will use it on their next "talkie".
EL the Famous
Maybe the Beasties will use it on their next "talkie". buggin bagels like my name was La cucaracha, rhymes so fresh it'll make you do the cha cha.
airtaco
I have to agree with the junior-high statement - that was ridiculously ametuerish.

solace
i'm with peel... that clip is not good i mean yes i realize it's only 30 seconds, so i'm not going to judge the track or anything, but still, the bass playing on it alone sounds pretty poor
Mrs. Peel
i'm with peel Somehow I always feel so validated when you say that.
Sir Stewart
For the record, I don't think the clip sounds special. It sounds a bit retahded, actually.
