Low opening the NA tour...

Recommended Posts

You guys realize that these dates just run through the end of July right? Do you really think the Wilcos are going to take the rest of the year off or something?

Exactly, this is the band that toured for approximately 37 years after AGIB came out.

I have no idea who Low is

A grindcore band from Duluth....which doesn't mean anything....

I have not heard their new one, but their last one, the Great Destroyer was quite good.

for those not familiar w/ Low, check out "Things We Lost In The Fire"

you mean slowcore? :brow

d'oh...of course....thanks....clearly I wasn't thinking before writing....

Things we lost in the fire is also excellent...actually those are the only two of their albums I know.

not a bad 2 to have/know
My only other experience with this band is their version of Blowin in the Wind on Duluth Does Dylan, which is a fun tribute album in general anyway. I certainly am looking forward to trying to get tickets for these shows...(let the craziness begin again...)

Carla Bozulich's website say that she'll be opening at some of the European shows. I think I need to dig out my passport and credit card.

On the wilco shows Bobb Bruno will play with me as well as guest

appearances by Nels and Mikael from wilco
