LouieB
I was thinking about that show last night, because when they played the Metro there was a relatively small crowd...not unlike the one for Low I saw the same place last night. Sometimes you never know who will attract a crowd. LouieB
pillowy star
We've seen them twice last year in January when they played the UK, and plan to see them again this summer if they could only decide to play Germany. They're real fun to watch, especially Robyn with his hilarious stories and of course Scotty
pnêyu
The show here was fun but oddly well mannered, aside from a lot of references to our president. I love the album, though, much more than I thought I would.
Wendy
The November 2006 show at the Magic Bag in Detroit was one of my favorite shows of recent memory. I really really wished I could see another show on this tour, I enjoyed it that much, but none of their dates/locations worked for me. What a great band! I think I love Scott McCaughey. And Peter Buck on his jangly guitar! But what a bunch of characters they are, especially Robyn Hitchcock with his 15-minute lead-in story to "Briggs"

Welsh Rich
They are great... I caught them in the UK last year, great fun show plus plenty of weird and wonderful stories to back up the weird and wonderful songs. I really must get Ole Tarantula, always forget about it though
