My tickets are about as far away from my hands as they have ever been this close to the show Just checked FedEx tracking and it has the wrong destination!! So in short; Iplan to be there but i am nervous

bedbug
What time do you think Wilco will be hitting the stage. I'm rolling in from Cincy, and want to schedule plenty of travel time.
thermocaster
The girlfriend and I will be there. Wilco shows at the Murat are always good...she lives within walking distance of the place.
Wendy
What time do you think Wilco will be hitting the stage. I'm rolling in from Cincy, and want to schedule plenty of travel time.Low should come on at around 7:30 and I'm assuming they play for 45 minutes or at the most 1 hour. That's kinda standard. So allowing for the set-up change between bands, I would say probably 8:30 / 8:45 / 9:00 for Wilco.
rghammo
I'm there. Any recommendations for good, quick places to eat near the venue?
thermocaster
I'm there. Any recommendations for good, quick places to eat near the venue? I guess it depends on your definition of "quick", but you can never go wrong with Bazbeaux's. Arguably the best pizza in town, and only a few blocks away. There's also a Scottish pub on Massachusetts Avenue that's pretty decent. Also very close to the venue.
Dan-O
I'm there. Any recommendations for good, quick places to eat near the venue? For something relatively fast, I would go with The Old Point or McNiven's. Neither is "fast food" but probably a little quicker than most of the other places around there (of the places you can drink). Most places near there are good, just not really fast. Bazbeaux is really good, but not fast at all (and on a Friday night before a show, there will be a wait list).
Buster
I'll be there and can't wait. Indy might be even more busy than usual since the Formula One race is this weekend, too. It might be Sunday, so maybe that crowd won't show up until Saturday?

The Murat Centre website says doors at 7:00, show at 8:00. Sorry 'bout that. Add a half-hour to all that stuff above.

Iglesia
For those of you looking for a place to grab a bite/beer before or after the show, I suggest checking out the Rathskeller. It is right across the street from the Murat AND it sits in the building built by Kurt Vonnegut Jr's grandfather (the Athenaeum). http://www.rathskeller.com/From the website:set in the historic, 19th century Athenaeum Building downtown, The Rathskeller is reminiscent of both a quaint inn tucked in the Bavarian hills and a lively beer hall in Munich. Voted Best German Restaurant seven years in a row, even a true German feels at home here. from J
