a review of the Latitude show

review here

Again and again, Cline shreds up Tweedy's tunes with his needling, penetrative solos; in "Shot In The Arm", "Side With The Seeds", "Handshake Drugs", even in "Walken", when he waves his lap steel over his head then uses it to machine gun Kotche..... :o

wish I'd gone now...

I think it was actually Pat who he (Nels) was mock gunning down.

PS: Match report to follow as soon as I've caught up on sleep and a traditional diet.

A review of the complete festival has now been written, check it out here:

Latitude Festival review

It comes complete with pictures and, as well as Wilco, there's coverage of Arcade Fire, The National, The Hold Steady, Andrew Bird, CSS, Magic Numbers, Patrick Wolf, Gruff Rhys, Soulsavers featuring Mark Lanegan, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Midlake, Bat For Lashes and many more.

Enjoy.

It would be pretty cool to see Wilco at a festival with a virgin audience just waiting to be won over... :thumbup
