Twisted Acres
played my weekly tuesday night show at Slane in the West Village tonight, and though I've seen those twin lights in the past, tonight they seemed stronger than ever, and just like Matt says, having them pierce the low clouds made it even more intense. It reminded me of how the top of both towers would disappear when low clouds were in the area. At one point, the clouds made it seem that the lights were ending right where the top of the World Trade Center would be, and out of your peripheral vision, it was as it they were there again. Leaving NYC, the sky was clear, and the lights went all the way to what seemed to be the end of the atmosphere. Or maybe heaven.
