willywoody
So does anyone need an extra ticket? Due to unforseen circumstances, the person who was originally going with me is no longer, well, going with me. I have a couple of other people to ask but then I'm out of options after that. Thought I'd post here first and then if no takers, I'll post in the ticket forum. where are the seats? i've got a friend who's miffed at me becasue i bought tix for a few others and didn't include him. bigshoulders
i wouldn't bank on any microbrews at sportz. probably could get a bass or newcastle and maybe a guinness, probably in a can.Hey Bill! I guess it goes without saying you'd be at Charleston, my friend. kevin

lamradio
you know it! although i'm not up front like last time. Were you on the very front row? Like Pit front row? That's where I am.. I know some places, the stage is high so front row isn't really a good thing.. How is the view from there? If you were indeed on the very front row..

If you were indeed on the very front row.. no, not the very front row. it was like second row of the main seats, so about 5th row overall. kind of a treat to see the band up close like that nowadays . it'll be a little low down there but your head will be above the stage level at least. that is if'n you're not a little person. watch me fall
I was on Row B last time but I think I'm on Row M this go round. I've already had my front row experience at Myrtle Beach so I'm good.

I meant by the "medley" is the music I love the riffs, licks, sound the words are kinda sad, but the music... just like with Radio King, love the music!! Wish they would play that one too!I'd go for "Rock Myself" or whatever it's called, it's a rockin' tune... That was kool hearing Cali Stars in Charlotte...Can't wait for the end of the month to hurry up and arrive

I thought you were talking about a medley as in, combining multiple songs together. The great thing about seeing Wilco is that you really never know what they are going to play.. They have such a large catalog, and seeing them live, you can expect new stuff, old stuff, side project stuff.. It's an adventure..

lamradio
Man, I just reread much of the old Charleston cancellation megathread. That was some good times. Yeah, I actually think it qualified as one of the great feuds in VC history (it went on for like two weeks straight). When I first found out about the cancellation, it felt like a smack in the face by a 2x4, but then I started to understand where Wilco was coming from, and I forgave them.. But still, they better make it up to us somehow at the show in August.
