Three dollars and 63 cents
I knew the answers to at least half, but I'm worried I skipped too many. Oh well. It was fun trying!
caliber66
Yeah, I fucked up the first one by not putting the cursor in the box in time (laptop) and the second one by not following directions (I thought it would accept my answer if I had it in the box and didn't hit enter). I probably knew 2/3 of the rest, but spazzed on several questions because I rushed.
Lammycat
I'm signed up for tomorrow night. It's timed, I presume? Â If it is timed, Alex doesn't chime in periodically with unwitty comments followed by a laugh track to slow you up does he?
IATTBYB
That was much harder than I rember from 2 years ago. Â Good luck to those who will be taking it later this week.
Sir Stewart
That was painful.I think I passed on 40 of the 50 questions. I got flustered quickly, and ended up not caring after about ten questions.I answered a few with the first thing that came to mind, like THIS IS THE FIRST BOOK OF THE NEW TESTAMENT"look, it's jesus"THIS IS THE ONLY PRESIDENT TO SERVE HIS ENTIRE TERM AS A BACHELOR"clinton"

It's timed, I presume?  If it is timed, Alex doesn't chime in periodically with unwitty comments followed by a laugh track to slow you up does he? You only get 15 seconds per question, and there's a timer. No witty Alex repartee, thankfully. It just makes that beep of failure like they use on the show.

Which was not my answer. edit2: And of course that's wrong also. It's James Buchanan.
Sir Stewart
No, I'm pretty sure I'm right on both of those.

IATTBYB
I don't want to come off as a nit, but it's not very smart talking about the questions and answers when there are two more nights the test is offered. Why give anyone a heads up as to what the questions will be.
Sir Stewart
I hadn't imagined it would be the same test consecutive nights - huh. That allows for a lot of cheating.

Lammycat
Only because of the laws of the time, my friend. Â Â And, I seriously doubt the folks behind Jeopardy! would be foolish enough to use the same questions for the on-line test three nights in a row.
Atticus
I knew the answer to everything but I chose not to play because it is a capitalist sellout system exploiting knowledge
