Szabo
Hey all, I have no plans tonight, just got paid and really want to check out some good local music. Anyone know of anything going on? I have been out of the loop lately and haven't recognized any of the bands playing tonight. Suggestions?
Guest Jules
Queensryche at the House of Blues.STS9 (Sound Tribe Sector 9) at Congress Theatre. Sorry. I would really like to see Buffalo Tom Saturday night (Double Door), but I can't do it. Plus I think it's sold out.
Szabo
I've seen STS9 a few times, I don't think I'd really pay to do it again, unless at a festival. I haven't listened to Queensryche since i was 11.
renic
you don't want to either, the guy lip sings.
alison the wilca
i think most singers use lip singing (besides beatboxers?). If he lip syncs, then that is too bad.
k8tee
More importantly, it's Queensryche AND Don Dokken

Stewsday
Yeah, but you only get touring nationals, for the most part, on pollstar. I check it daily too. I like Jambase. It lists most of the shows in the city (local, regional, & national).~G. pollstar.com The best place to check what concerts are going on when (You can search by city or date)! tangara
The venue website says sold out, but I didn't actually check since I can't go anyway. I would like to hear what you think of the show. It was aight (and it was sold out, after all). I never saw them back in the day, so it was cool to hear the old stuff off Big Red Letter Day. I'm not such a fan of the new stuff, but it sounded solid (if a little low energy). Bill Janovitz still has the goods.
Wickster
Don Dokken will steal the show......
