Lynch
Really looking forward to this show, and then Winnipeg the next day. I will hopefully get a setlist up when I am home, unless someone beats me to it. I will most likely only get back home from the show around 3am or so, after the long drive. Then three hours of sleep and off to work.We are hoping to be at the venue early tonight, and get right up front. *Crossing my fingers for no freaky car problems like our last stateside trip.............. Lynch
*RGC rocked HARD as an opener. Looking forward to seeing them again tonight. We were right up front, a mere ten feet away from Mr. Tweedy. The show was phenomenal!!!! Jeff was in a good mood, and it looked like they were having the time of their lives up there. Really friendly folks around us too, had conversations with a few of them. Can't believe I get to see them again tonight, and it's only an hour drive this time. Will have my trusty Post-its along to scribble down the setlist again. Well, I am off to work, after two hours of sleep.

Lynch
I did not see any tapers, but I was up front right against the rail. The drone on "Less Than...." was a few minutes, then Glenn started with the drums into "Spiders". Before the 3rd rock-out in Spiders, they all stopped playing and Jeff was leading handclaps and I thought they were done, and then BANG! right back into it. We were at the venue by about 5pm and we went around back to hear the soundcheck. One of the big garage doors right behind the stage was open. The staff at the venue was really cool. We were standing right by RGC's gear and they didn't give us any weird looks or tell us to leave. They did "Shake It Off", "Less Than..." and what sounded like a new song? I was not familiar with it. We also passed Pat on the street, but he was on his cell phone so we just got a smile and a wave. It was a great night. I am really hoping for "Theologians" and "Remember The Mountain Bed" tonight in Winnipeg. And Jeff made several comments about the raunchy Rochester crowd. It was hilarious. skoii
Can anyone tell me what song from Fargo's setlist had the incredibly wild drum solos in it? I spaced it out and it is killing me that I can't remember this. Oh, and spiders was completely amazing--I cannot think of a better way to complete the night.
Lynch
I think you mean Via Chicago.
skoii
I think you mean Via Chicago. Thank you, thank you, thank you--the memories are flooding back, the synapses are firing. Since moving to Moorhead (the MN side of Fargo), I don't see many concerts as very few shows come to town, but I was blessed with rock in the last year. A very intimate show with Built to Spill, a very drunk show with Bright Eyes, and this wonderful performance by Wilco. I even got to see QOTSA--not a huge fan, but the show was pretty darn good. Fargo is stepping up, finally after five years, but unfortunately its time to go elsewhere. Other honorable mentions: Heartless Bastards, Joggers, Malachi Constant, Handsome Furs.
