I have seen Joan of Arc and various incarnations about 15 times inc. Owls (no relation to my screen name) since 1999. The last show was Make Believe a couple of years ago. One of the loudest shows I've ever seen was some Kinsella band opening for Joan of Arc opening for MakeBelieve. All told, it was Kinsella on stage 3 times. I may have suffered permanent hearing loss from that show.

I'm actually in the process of starting a JOA archive on Owl&Bear. It will be a while before that comes to fruition, though.

I really like Cap'n Jazz and their influence on post punk. Bands like Cursive or even At the Drive In would not be what they are today without Cap'n Jazz. Have any of their recordings been remastered?

i saw cap n jazz at the, now closed, fireside in chicago many moons ago and it was pretty righteous. i still pull out their record now and again if i am in that kinda mood. most of the time i just may listen to little league, which is classic.
