Better than books, i'd say. What else do they need?
LouieB
Who else played? We have tons of great musicians here who should support this. In fact some relatively famous folks teach or taught in the Chicago schools, some music some other stuff. (Things have fallen apart since the days of the Captain Walter Dyett of course....) W(TF)
Well, I guess no one was shot or killed, so it doesn't rate for the 40-odd headlines on the Metro page? http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/index.html

NewMadridMO
I'm a CPS teacher who attended the rally and it was quite the surprise to see Jeff come out. He played a version of "Jesus, Etc." accompanied by some guest vocals, bongos, and guitars. His message was "take care of each other" and he was gone. Very cool thing for Jeff to do.
