bobbob1313
Too bad Katie Holmes didn't do this one. Well, I guess that is something that you can say.
Good Old Neon
These are al clear cut examples of crass publicity stunts, it
LouieB
With a large cast and crew, it is probable that stuff happens. Heath died months ago, Stars like Freeman and Bale (as well as Ledger) get into scrapes all the time that are well publicized because they are famous. If you or I get in an accident or have a personal altercation, no one calls the press. LoiueB
caliber66
I'm gonna go with "no, not cursed".
Spawn's dad
of course there's a curse. with all those out of work former batmen (val kilmer, michael keaton) how could it be otherwise?
Wilco Worshipper
Well, for the record, I'm not the only one that thinks so. There was one link I was going to post for you last night. I looked this morning and there's almost a dozen or so now. Highly reminiscent of 'Poltergeist', I say. And joking or not, I don't think the Morgan Freeman comment was very funny. EDIT: Nor was the dismissal of the crew member's death, just as tragic as Heath's just not publicized.
Spawn's dad
Well, for the record, I'm not the only one that thinks so. More than 70,000 Australians declared themselves members of the Jedi order in the 2001 census.
Sir Stewart
The talk of a 'curse' is despicable and an affront to the deceased and to anyone involved in the film.

bobbob1313
Speculating about a curse > joking about someone getting into a car crash. Alright.
Good Old Neon
Aside from the ridiculousness of the entire discussion, assuming someone is a victim of a curse suggests, to me, that rightly or wrongly, they did something deserving of a curse - imo. We can speculate on the how
Spawn's dad
I'd also posit that the crew member's death was more tragic than Heath Ledger's since all that guydid was wake up and go to work that day.
bleedorange
Perhaps the Scientologists have something to do with all of this. Getting back for Katie Holmes's dismissal.
bjorn_skurj
This thread might be cursed. Now I am going to have Steve Martin's "King Tut" in my head all day.
Wilco Worshipper
The talk of a 'curse' is despicable and an affront to the deceased and to anyone involved in the film.My apologies. I had a discussion last night w/ some other people and just wanted to see what other people around the country were thinking. I NEVER MEANT ANYTHING bad by any of it. I don't do such things purposefully.

Or a lack of divine protection. But I think most people would just call it being unlucky. A coincidence of misfortunes.
