insideoutoflove
http://daytrotter.com/article/1461/the-punch-brothers(third song on the page) This is great. I love Chris Thile and pretty much any song he sings (his voice is just so soothing and beautiful) but it's great to hear a new take on one of my favorite Wilco songs. Reminds me of the Pickin' On Wilco album, which I still whip out every once in awhile (that version of When You Wake Up Feeling Old is a GREAT fall/autumn tune, by the way)
Moe_Syzlak
Thanks! I've seen these guys a few times at various festivals and always hoped they would play this (it's my favorite Wilco tune). Alas, they never did so this was my first time hearing their version. It is nice, but I don't like how they've reconstructed the tune to a more traditional verse/chorus/verse format. PigSooie
Nice. I love Thile. I have a version of Poor Places by Nickel Creek (I think). This one is much better. Thanks.
Sir Stewart
Haven't listened yet but I love what I've heard of the Punch Bros.
M. (hristine
Nickel Creek were an unabashed Wilco fan band. They covered Wilco every time I saw them, Poor Places and IATTBYH come immediately to mind. Punch Bros. are teh awesome.

Scalzunfield
If only a single Nickel Creek song was 1/2 as good as this sounds.

markosis
A while back Thile and his band at the time did a version of The Band's "Ophelia" which was pretty kick arse. Oh, and that cover of "Poor Places" is awesome.
orchestra
Didn't care much for the cover, and it makes me apathetic in regards to checking out any other music by this band.
