MrRain422
I love Vonnegut but this barely sneaks onto a list of his 10 best, IMO.
bedbug
It actually is probably my favorite book ever. Toss up between GBYMR and Cat's Cradle, but I think Rosewater has the slight edge. Great thread!
PopTodd
I always call him out as one of my favorite authors but, truth be told, I haven't gone back and read any of his books in years.I need to do so. And, from memory, I loved Mr. Rosewater, as well. But I always think of my faves as:Slaughterhouse 5Cat's CradleWelcome to the Monkeyhouseand then, whatever else I can remember. jimmyjimmy
While Slaughterhouse 5 is probably his greatest work I'm a Bluebeard kinda guy myself.

Atticus
While Slaughterhouse 5 is probably his greatest work I'm a Bluebeard kinda guy myself. The revelation of the painting had me bawling like a kid.
bigshoulders
I always call him out as one of my favorite authors but, truth be told, I haven't gone back and read any of his books in years.I need to do so. And, from memory, I loved Mr. Rosewater, as well. But I always think of my faves as:Slaughterhouse 5Cat's CradleWelcome to the Monkeyhouseand then, whatever else I can remember. I'm with you. I have nearly all of his books, but I've been remiss in re-reading them in the past few years. I do recall really liking "Rosewater" however. The Sirens of Titan is definitely up near the top of the last, after Slaughterhouse-Five of course. Kevin
