billydee
Yes, the promoter was holding the date at TLA for them probably up until a couple weeks ago. I suspect the fact that the Neil show did not sell out for the Spectrum tomorrow was the deciding factor. I saw my first Wilco show there many moons ago. Had to be dragged there by a friend. http://wilcobase.com/event.php?event_key=248Next time I went willingly! Imagine the scene there tonight had it gone down.
Three dollars and 63 cents
Wow, that would've been pretty wild. The TLA is a lot smaller than the Tower, so I'm sure it would've been packed. And I would've been so mad, because then I would've missed TWO Wilco shows because of this damn snowstorm.
Sir Stewart
As in Monday, I'm all high, get me out of TLA?

jcroach
As in Monday, I'm all high, get me out of TLA? I always assumed TLA stood for Titanic Love Affair.

I wasn't dragged but I was not familiar with Wilco at all when a buddy invited me to that show. Haven't missed a tour since. Dave

Sir Stewart
So the narrator in 'Monday' is in Titanic Love Affair?
MrRain422
Either that or Jeff Tweedy just threw that line in there as a nod to Jay Bennett. Or Bennett wrote the line.
dmait
>I saw my first Wilco show there many moons ago. Had to be dragged there by a friend. That's a huge feather in your cap. There's something about the TLA. I saw Whiskeytown there on the Strangers Almanac tour.
