Despite the reference to air conditioned rooms in Poor Places I always imagined the narrartor when referencing having his fangs pulled as a calmed down "Jeff" after a fight with his wife and for whatever reason have always pictured him looking outside at the snow falling when he says I really want to see you tonight.
