explodo
Shit! That's great. A Hawk and a Hacksaw are dynamite. Now I wish I was going to one of those shows. And Akron/Family in Spain? Yowza.
lamradio
My band is opening for them.. Not really, but that would be awesome. A Hawk and a Hacksaw? That'll be... interesting.....

Nobody will like them. At least that would be my guess. It will be like (smog) or Low.

I actually like Low, but I just don't think they put on a very good live show. I'm actually looking forward to A Hawk and a Hacksaw.. I have a pretty open mind when it comes to music. Especially since I'll have a couple beers in me when they take the stage.
bböp
I know Jeff has said in interviews that he has sort of kept tabs on A Hawk and a Hacksaw because of Jeremy Barnes and his connection with Neutral Milk Hotel, so it's not a huge surprise to see them slotted as the support act for this tour. I can't say I'm extremely familiar with their music and I bet a lot of people will be like, WTF, but I'm interested to see/hear them.
Kamera Lens
I'm excited to see a Hawk and a Hacksaw play, especially because of Jeremy Barnes. He's the last member of NMH that I have to yet to see in concert. But, I also like the music--something different.
Moss
Never heard Hawk and Hacksaw but I do like NMH.
Wendy
Besides Wilco dates, A Hawk and a Hacksaw are opening for Andrew Bird for some of his shows starting with April 2nd in Cleveland (including the Chicago show at the Opera House) so here's some homework for you! And although there is the NMH connection, this does not sound like NMH. http://www.myspace.com/ahawkandahacksaw Below is part 1 of a 3-part performance on "The Take-Away Shows" from La Blogotheque in Paris.
