remphish1
I must admit it I did feel very out of place at this show. Most of the artist that got the biggest reception (Baez, Havens) were artist before my time but I still sppreciated the magnitude and huge variety of artist. Some included:Arlo GutherieBilly BraggJoan BaezRichie HavensRambling Jack ElliottRoger MCGwinn (With Band of Horses!! They did Turn Turn Turn which was aweosme!)Tom MorrellToshi RoganAni DiFrancoBen HarperDave MatthewsJohn MellencampBruce Springsteen (With Tom Morrello)Dar WilliamsBela FleckMichael FrantiPete and Peggy SeegerPatterson HoodGuy DavisBruce CockburnKeller WilliamsKris KristoffersonPreservation Hall Jazz BandSteve EarlTaj MahalTom ChapinTommy Sands The Concert ran approximatley 4 and half hours. It was a sold out show and was quite a unique expierence. There was a big finally with everyone on stage with Pete which was cool. Anyone else go?
JerseyMike
Damn, makes me wish I still lived in NY. I used to work for Havens, McGuinn, Arlo and the great, underrated Guy Davis. Must have been a great show.

Must have been a great show. I was impressed with Havens guitar playing and I did like Guys voice...very soulful. I was really excited about MCGwinn as I love the way he plays guitar! Arlo was not my thing but still was glad I saw him. What did you used to do for them?
W(TF)
Must have been great..I bet there'll be a dvd or broadcast of this. I saw Pete and Arlo perform in Montreal back in '85 (with my dad and grandma), it was a fabulous show.
JerseyMike
What did you used to do for them? I was one of their agents, then I decided I needed to reclaim my soul! I was particularly close to Richie and Guy, since they lived locally and are great guys. I still keep in touch with Richie from time to time. Sounds like the show was a great time. JerseyMike
The music business is an entirely soulless entity, no matter who you work for.
