The High Heat
Vinyl is definitely making a comeback when it comes to my town.
HungryHippo
It certainly was. There still is a Schoolkids in Raleigh (next to Sadlack's, across from the NCSU Belltower) but it ain't the same. I have a vinyl copy of Mermaid Ave. that came from the Chapel Hill Schoolkids. I was sad to see it go. Another pretty good out-of-the way store in Durham is Chaz' Records. It's next to to the Cosmic Cantina off of 9th Street in Durham. I hope he's still in business, I haven't been there in mos. K made it out to Schoolkids the other day and was so stoked to see that they carry vinyl now! their used selection wasn't all that great, like who's selling their good vinyl, but their new vinyl selection was impressive. i will be going back there soon, for sure. Analogman
I suppose this has been mentioned somewhere around her before, but Rhino is re-releasing a lot of albums on vinyl these days.
LouieB
I suppose this has been mentioned somewhere around her before, but Rhino is re-releasing a lot of albums on vinyl these days. That's nice of them. They actually kept alot of stuff in vinyl for along time until it appeared vinyl was really on the way out. LouieB
