In honor of my anniversary with this board, I am reviving a WILD MERCURY SOUND post.

Ok, my friends band Dragonflies Draw Flame have a section on their site where people can post their Top 12 albums, the rules being thus:

 

"Firstly rather than picking 12 albums in order of how

great they are, you have to pick 6 upper albums and

6 lower albums. The sub-groups themselves do not have

an order but the upper 6 are better than the lower.

Also, no sub-group can contain 2 albums by the same band

this can lead to what scientists call the "communist

phenomenon" where an album in the bottom six is better

than much of the top six."
