cryptique
No Michigan dates I saw Crowded House a couple of years ago when they were touring for Time On Earth, and it was a solid show. Neil still has one of the best voices in music. I had free tickets to see them near Chicago in 1991 on the Woodface tour, but couldn't find a ride (none of my friends wanted to go to a show that featured Richard Thompson, Crowded House, and the Smithereens -- what the HELL?). I have a CD of their set from that night (from the WXRT radio broadcast) and it's one of my most-listened-to live recordings of ANY artist. Still pissed I didn't get to see that show. You know you're a great songwriter when you can write a catchy pop tune where practically none of the lyrics rhyme (listen again). Neil Finn is pure genius.

Nice to see the response on Mr. Finn and Crowded House. The only, only band I've ever seen that was equal to Wilco in a live venue was Crowded House.

Don't give up on Michigan....the last several dates on the list are from the Northwest to Calgary, MSP, and Chicago. Michigan is an obvious next stop if they keep going, and I've heard more dates are on the way.
