Three dollars and 63 cents
Yeah, it's available as part of that EP on iTunes. I bought it yesterday since I didn't have it. This show was INSANE. I was so sore when I woke up yesterday from all the dancing I did, and I wasn't even on the floor. They had a choir of about 10 or 15 guys for quite a few songs, along with a brass section for some songs and a larger than usual version of the band. Not to mention the biggest disco ball I've ever seen. The vocals sounded really muddy to me, and I got a little bored during parts of the second set, but this was still one of the biggest and most fun shows I've ever been at. Everybody seemed like they were having a blast. I didn't see a single person being rude or acting like an ass, which I've pretty much come to expect at any show I go to anymore, so that was a pleasant surprise. I'm so glad I got the chance to see them once, and I really hope they release this as a digital download the way they did with one of those shows they did with Hot Chip last fall. I have a hard time believing they'll never play together again, but if they don't, this was a hell of a way to go out.
JAK2112
I'm jealous you guys got tickets. I was at the Monday night T5 show, i did everything i could to try to get tickets (including waiting outside the Mercury Lounge for 2 hours in single digit temperature). Glad to hear you guys enjoyed it though. Watched the webcast and it looked like a really good time, was a bit surprised by how emotional James got towards the end, he always has his apathetic poker face on. I did enjoy the extra effort put into the "All my friends" line "To tell the truth, this could be the last time". Fitting, as it very well could be.
