This is his 1st release on his own label, Maximum Sunshine, so I am trying to help get the word out about it. Listen if you are so inclined. I know the 97's have a few fans on here. I think it's pretty solid. I am sort of pissed that Rachel Yamagata sings on my favorite song on it, because I don't particularly care for her style. Other than that minor let down it's an excellent, twang-infused record. I am proud of and for him. The duet with Ms. Cash is lovely.
