worldrecordplayer
Hmmm, which one, or both? I seem to recall people raving about the VT show at the time.
linclink
Hmmm, which one, or both? I seem to recall people raving about the VT show at the time.I wasn't at Vermont (& I'm just about to finally get to listen to the show that I downloaded earlier, right now in fact as I just got back home- already checked Rochester out & it's a great as I remember it being), but I can tell you that I not only thought Rochester was a fantastic gig (performance & sound fidelity wise), & so did the many faithful...but...there were a number of first timers at that show who came away slack jawed & trout mouthed, as they say...Interesting that the shows that I thought had the best sound overall, Hartford, CT & then the best outdoor show sound, Columbus, OH,- neither of them have gotten released...I have to say that the only show that was slightly lesser for me was Camden, NJ- in part because it was a truncated "festival length" set list, & also because it was the poorest venue, in every sense, of all the places that I saw them...they were still spot on great though, just not as incredible as the other shows... worldrecordplayer
Interesting that the shows that I thought had the best sound overall, Hartford, CT The sound in the Bushnell was fantastic.
Turnips
Vermont gets a big meh from me, I bought it wanting to have a good quality recent version of Hell is Chrome, but the sound ain't great and the rest of the tracks are on any other roadcase. should have passed, oh well
twoshedsjackson
The sound in the Bushnell was fantastic. I know! It was incredible. I was so hoping they'd release that one.
thingfishp
I'm seriously hoping for a Bushnell release as well as I was not in the best of conditions at the Hartford show, having broken my foot and my big toe in 5 places (and 5 stitches to close up where the nail was driven down to the bone). I got out of the Yale ER in just enought time get there for the last couple of songs by Lee Renaldo, hobbling around on a bloody gauze-wrapped foot and crutches. The show was great, but I was not in the best state for fully appreciating it. I was at the VT show, too, which was a blast with some friends and my 2 daughters, one of whom was a first-timer, but the Bushnell was a better show.
