Cold as Gasoline
OK, you've all inspired me. I've set aside tomorrow for some emergency-level cleaning, but will go tomorrow night if I get most of it accomplished during the day. Love Wes Anderson's films, especially Rushmore. -seven
Saw it and immediately wanted to see it again. It's a beautiful film. I saw it twice. It was so beautiful but moved so fast that I felt like I needed to see it again. I really enjoyed it.
smells like flowers
Finally got to see it tonight! Visually stunning, all I could've hoped for and more. So glad i got to see it on the big screen! Ralph Fiennes was terrific. All the movies that were previewed before it looked absolutely wretched, to me, so that made the opening segment all the more delightful (funicular! Such a weird word). I loved the little touch of everything being labeled : the aforementioned funicular, the Lobby Boy, steam vent, etc. Very whimsical.
kidsmoke
I loved it as well and have been pushing all my friends to go see it while it is still in theaters...there is so much to be seen! A feast for the eyes. Just brilliant, howlingly funny, and poignant, all at once. I'm going to try to see it a second time too.
