Mr. Heartbreak
Great photos. Makes me look forward to seeing DBT more. Kind of a douche-y review by the other guy, though. He can't review Blitzen Trapper without taking a shot at the Grateful Dead? Seems kind of gratuitous at best. (I just looked them up on Allmusic.com, and it says they are influenced by The Flaming Lips, Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, Beck & The Velvet Underground. Wow, that makes my point even better than I could. Anyway, nice job on the photos of both bands.)
RaspberryJam
"They are also a band that evokes the Grateful Dead with indulging in the worst hippy-bullshit that that name conjures." Do you think he meant to say "without?"
Mr. Heartbreak
That would only help a little.

worldrecordplayer
Great photos Tim! Marred only by the terribly written review. Better to look at your photos on Flickr and not have them polluted by that writing and (lack of) editing. I got to play "Where's Waldo" and found myself in the crowd. roadhse ma
Tim,Glad you were there also. I often times make of day of show decision, as was the case here.Below is my mini review from a thread I started a few years ago on Backstreets.comMIke Re: Concerts Seen Recently/Going to See incl mini reviewby roadhse ma on Mar 22, 2014 1:32 pmTake a little mid career ZZ Top / mixed in a bit of Country Infused Stones ( Honky Tonk Women era)Add a bit of Petty put some original good writing to all above what comes out ....Drive By Truckers yes they were all the above at different times last night at the House of Blues Boston. They provided good pacing throughout the show w/ ballads and rockers .The encores came after 2 plus hours 4 songs, and hardly a soul left A true test of a good show for me is the pattering of feet, and hearing excuse me a lot before the band comes back out for the final run. Did not happen last night! This is a band not miss, in my opinion ; Road Tested and Ready to Rock!!Just like our guy from NJ, so much better live!FootnoteI have heard much of their studio stuffTheir newest is very good !Lets enjoy it while we're passing through it!
