Tomer82
Was wondering what people here think are the best official roadcase releases...? Or if I'm buying like a run of shows (2-3 straight nights in the same place), which one would be the best? As for most different songs and sound-wise. If you already had this kind of thread would love to get a link.
Skian
9/23/12 Reno is good.
Sandy in SFCA
The two I listen to most often are Terminal 5 in NYC and Stubb's BBQ in Austin. Great set lists and great performances.
smells like flowers
Also, check out the fantastic website www.sooutoftune.org. Chock full of live shows by Wilco, Jeff, Uncle Tupelo, Minus 5, TWEEDY, etc! More great music than you can shake a stick at.
choo-choo-charlie
I've got Red Rocks, Reno, Terminal 5, Stubb's and night 2 of Solid Sound (the Wilco set, not the cover set). All have their charms and are super-tight performances. If I had to pick 2, I'd say Terminal 5 and Solid Sound. They break out of the "tour set list" and include lots of tasty Summerteeth tunes and other deep cuts.
BadScooter
I have Cooperstown, Rochester, Reno, Solid Sound, and Austin. Reno I listen to the least, but that one and Austin are the only ones I didn't attend and that factors in a lot. Rochester is probably my favorite, but Austin is longer with so many great songs on it.
Robby
I love the covers concert - the first nite of the last Solid Sound festival. They all seemed to have so much fun and Marquee Moon was a knockout.
Tomer82
Great, thanks for the replies. I had my eye already on the Solid Sound 2nd night, Austin and Ternimal 5. Might go for them.
Magnetized
if you are a Wilco fan I would highly recommend getting solid sound night one as well it was just so much fun to hear them play all those covers and it's a pretty unique experience

Sandy in SFCA
Were the Solid Sound recordings a limited release? I don't see them in the store anymore.
choo-choo-charlie
I might have to give Austin another listen. The set list is definitely impressive on paper, but the first few times I listened I couldn't get into it. They sounded tired, including Jeff's voice.
