PopTodd
That last thing is a playlist of songs that I was able to put together from that quasi-legendary Hoboken, NJ indie rock band. Was only able to find 4 songs online. But, as I only have a bit of time before I go home from work, I figured now would be a good time to listen to this playlist that I compiled. If any of you out there know of any other songs available from these folks, I would love it if you could point me in their direction. This is some pretty great late-80s indie jangle.Track list:• Jane September• Cover Your Eyes• Washboard• Something Else Again

Boss_Tweedy
^^^ Boss, how's the new Steve Earle album? I heard country(ish). It's really good. And, yes, it's definitely his most "country" album in a while (which is a good thing to me).

Oil Can Boyd
Somehow I've missed or forgotten how great this album is. Ricky Wilson's guitar is fantastic.
Boss_Tweedy
¿Qué es esto? They're a band from New Orleans that plays an interesting combination of alt-country and 60's soul (though that part of their sound is more subtle). I discovered them at a tiny club at a late-night show after Jazz Fest a few years ago. They were better to me than any act I'd seen at Jazz Fest that year. How these guys came from New Orleans with this sound is mind-boggling...in a good way. I can't remember, but I think they covered an Otis Redding or Marvin Gaye that night and made work.
