kidsmoke
I'm pulling out the Scott McCaughey / Minus 5 classic, "Dear December" with hits like "St. Nick's a Dick" and "Yuletide Me Over". Whattya got for the season?
brownie
I’ve been listening to Calexico’s Seasonal Shift, released in December 2020. This was a wonderful Christmas gift from the band during the darkest ever Christmas.
i'm only sleeping
GD and jazz. My only Christmas song is Run Rudolph Run, wit. Pigpen's GD. Otherwise, I run away from christmas music as quickly as from the devil.

calvino
Bob Dylan's Christmas in the Heart is the 1st music we play every season on the way picking up our tree. From there, while in the car, the kid's have me put on 93.9 -- our Chicago station that goes Christmas, right after Thanksgiving. I find it dreadful --- but it is they only time of the year I let them pick - so I roll with it. I do have a lot of old Christmas records that I use to listen to when I was kid -- those are always fun spinning. Below is one of my favorites -- still plays pretty good.
Chez
About 12 years ago, a buddy of mine gave me a four CD genre-spanning compilation of holiday music. It's quite good. I also love Low's Christmas album (which will be even more poignant this year) and Bloodshot Records' 13 Day of Xmas.
