Oh good, you're here. I have to plan a summer trip for us this year, and I can't decide between New York and San Francisco. What Would You Do?

I hate the fooking Giants. I guess I'll be rooting for the 19-0 perfect season.
-
There are only a few very specific circumstances that could possibly cause me to cheer for the Giants, and this isn't one of them. Go Pack.

I woke up with this thought this morning: The good news: only one more year. The bad news: it's a Leap Year.

We ate there last March (weekend of the LR show at Erin's) and it was still going and fantastic as usual. We're planning to go again in April, assuming it's still there. Amitabul is fully vegan, and though I'm a carnivore myself, I love that place. Sadly, it's kinda far out and hard to get to without a car. Their old location on Southport was much more accessible.

I'm spending mine on pudding.

inside the ass of Treehug'n Dirt Worshipper > IRDB

You don't understand. IRDB lives in Washington, so he automatically knows more about it than any of us.

I just wanted to quote this post so we could all bask in its glow.

Uninstall Vista, install XP, then transfer by whatever means. You said "properly"... -
She's over 50 now, but she's lost none of her allure from my point of view.

Yup. That's my current angle, and it's working decently well on its own, though it'd be working better if I could improve my eating that last little bit. Physical activity may technically be "free," but during the winter it can also get expensive. We joined a nearby gym, and we open it six mornings a week (that's 5:30 AM on weekdays) to get our sweat on. It's not the typical meat-market gym -- it's primarily intended for physical therapy patients but also offers memberships -- and most of the members are senior citizens, so it's not usually very busy. Oh, and to justify this wordy post ..

Stewart Mandel on SI.com today: Morgantown madness WVU's juvenile behavior toward Rodriguez must stop Posted: Friday January 18, 2008 11:57AM; Updated: Friday January 18, 2008 12:17PM On behalf of any sane, reasonable people out there who may be reading this story, I'd like to make a simple request to West Virginia University and its followers. Let it go, already. Your coach, Rich Rodriguez, left for Michigan -- a month ago. Obviously it was disappointing, perhaps even painful, coming as abruptly as it did. I'd imagine it's not too different from a guy dumping his girlfriend out of

Well, it's not a matter of disposable income. Obesity in the U.S. is more prevalent among the poor, though the affluent are catching up. I don't blame society or anyone else for my own weight issues. I just like to eat, way too much, and I've spent my life making pretty poor choices about food. That said, the food industry does have a role in the current epidemic of obesity and diabetes. Processed foods are evil, and a lot of bad information has been disseminated by food producers over the past several decades. News flash: Wonder Bread is not good for you. It's basically sugar. Foods that
