  1. No big deal, the way it's pronounced sounds very similar to the English 'z.' I was a nerdy Germanistik major...so finding and being able to correct such mistakes is one of my few skills.
  2. 'Sieg' not 'Zieg' -- It's the German word for 'victory.'
  3. Thanks! I was at the show, but I just wanted to check this out for curiosities sake, video quality is pretty good, but the music mix at least on the first few songs seems out of wack (haven't watched the whole thing). It seems like the keyboards are pushed way to the front of the mix and nels' guitar is nowhere to be found. It could be my computer...but I don't think so.
  4. I thought MGMT put on a really good show. Probably my favorite on Saturday. Explosions in the Sky > Broken Social Scene > Wilco was a pretty rockin line up on the the farthest north stage.
  5. Cocteau Twins - Treasure (album) 1. "Ivo" 2. "Lorelei" 3. "Beatrix" 4. "Persephone" 5. "Pandora (For Cindy)" 6. "Amelia" 7. "Aloysius" 8. "Cicely" 9. "Otterley" 10. "Donimo"
  6. More heartbroken than breakin'... Eddie Vedder - Long Nights Golden Smog - Jennifer Save Me Jayhawks - Blue Pearl Jam - Nothing Man Replacements - Answering Machine The Smiths - Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want Far, Far Away - Wilco
  7. Fleet Foxes definitely gave David Crosby's "If I Only Could Remember My Name" more than a few spins before they recorded their full length, which isn't a bad thing. I wonder if this classic rock revival type music will be the next big thing.
  8. What if you had a friend whose account you may have used once or twice (in all seriousness not that much) and it was banned. I am also banned?
  9. Because I am curious, like a cat, I was wondering if anyone had any OINK invites still floating around. Thanks.
  10. Either Way. Doesn't seem to be getting much love, but I like it.
  11. Wilco soll Deutschland im Herbst besuchen. Das ist um so besser f
  12. Show was great. Although anyone near the way front of the audience I am sure agrees with me that the group of drunk recent high school grads could have been a little quieter during Andrew Bird. They were bad enough that at one point I thought about just abandoning the front row and moving to a quieter area, but in the end I am glad I stuck it out. Wilco put on quite a show. Very high energy. Oh, and the singer from Sweat Tarts had quite a pair of leather pants on.
